Is there something wrong in v1.32 ?
Mapping tab:
Yesterday I wanted to map the Kick sound from Key C1(default) to D1.
When I audit The Kick sound now the Kick sound becomes Snare sound.
It doesn't matter if I check 'Map GM Input' or not. It's always the same.
Can you confirm this (bug or feature) ? _________________ PC i7 870 2.93GHz, 8GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 5500, RME Multiface I, Win7 Home 64bit, StudioOne2Pro, Wavelab7 |

Yes, the internal sounds don't really like to be remapped. May I ask for what purpose this is? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Sometimes I have GM files where Kick drum is on B0 instaed of C1.
Of course, as workaround I can remap it in CubaseSX2, but isn't Key-remapping in jamstix also made for this ?
Remapping of Kick from C1 to D1 in my first post was a bad example, but illustrates what happens if you do it. _________________ PC i7 870 2.93GHz, 8GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 5500, RME Multiface I, Win7 Home 64bit, StudioOne2Pro, Wavelab7 |

Got it. Originally the mapping was just intended to adjust the MIDI output to match the layout of an external VSTi.
The next beta will operate as you need it with GM Mapping off. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks very much.
Don't take much priority for this, since I've found my workaround. |

It's already done and will be in the next beta. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
