Ralph
My browser won't let me vote for the 'songwriter kit'
but wow... The idea of a softer kick and a deeper darker snare sounds perfect...
More intimate for those Neil Young or Ryan Adams type songs.
teh harder kicks sound ok in loud rock... but they are a bit harsh for softer folk type music

We will have a dark snare and a light kick in DrumPak #2.
You may also want to experience with the DP1 kick by doing any of the following in the mapping tab:
- lower the velocity line for the kick so max velocity is only 80% of normal velocity
- move the sustain slider of the kick left to shorten the sound and reduce the 'boom'
- change the pitch of the kick _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I'm also not able to vote in the surveys, why is that? When I open the topic I see the histogram of the results but nothing to click on to add my vote. Is there a setting in IE6 that needs adjusting? I'd love to contribute my deeply considered and valuable opinions.
Thanks, cheers

You have to be 18 to vote
Just kidding, I don't know what the problem is (maybe you are using a proxy server and someone else on the same proxy alread voted) but we'll definitely read your opinion in this thread. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
