Hi all,
This is probably a stupid question but, having got a nice arrangement, I would like to save it before trying an alternative jam approach. How can I do this and, assuming it's possible, would this arrangement get saved as part of the Cubase project - i.e. is it specific to the project? I could foresee creating a number of alternative arrangements within one song before commiting to a particular one.
On a different matter, having used Jamstix in Free Jam for a couple of songs now I'm totally amazed by how flexible it is. It seems to sense the mood of the playing and fit in perfectly, once you've adjusted various parameters etc. The only comment I have at this stage is that the knob controlling the sensitivity to MIDI input is really difficult to adjust accurately. Ralph, would it be possible to allow for finer adjustment by using, say, the shift key in conjunction with the mouse pointer - bit like the Cubase GUI?

The arrangement gets saved into the Cubase project file. If you'd like to store alternate arrangements separately, you can either use the Load/Save FXB function of your host, which will save all settings, including mapping etc. or the Load/Save functions of the disc icon in the arranger title bar, which will only save the arrangement itself.

The input trim knob is not for fine-grain control. Please us the input velocity map in the mapping tab for that, which allows you to draw a custom curve. You can also right-click on it to load/save maps. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
