Hi
For 'stand alone use' I tried using JS with the 'Mini-host' that someone on this forum recommended. The Minihost was as un-stable as you could imagine... crashing etc.... so it's not for me.

Can Jamstix operate from within Steinbergs V-stack?

This would be an easy solution wouldn't it?

Not sure about the V-stack but MiniHost is generally a good 'indicator' host, which should function perfectly with Jamstix.

I bet this is a driver issue. Did you check in the ASIO->Driver menu of MiniHost to make sure your best ASIO driver is selected?

Ralph
I downloaded the asio4all driver and that is selected in the mini-host. ASIO panel.

Still VERY unstable.

V-Stack is a major programme for hosting VSTinstruments. A lot of people use it live with laptops (etc) It'd be good to know if Jamstix will run within it.

It is ASIO driven (Steinberg!) and opens VSTI's (Jamstix) so it should work shouldn't it?
It is much more of a simple host than a whole sequencer like CUBASE>

V-Stack should work just fine.
