Hi
Yesterday I was working with Jamstix doing an arrangement and had done quite a lot of 'arranging' and rythms, etc and I then wanted to add DFHS as a VSTi and route the output of jamstix to the input of DFHS. Now, without thinking I selected Jamstix again and added it as a VSTi. Having realised my error immediately, I simply removed the second JS VSTi and loaded DFHS as originally planned. I thought nothing of it, and just started selecting the DFHS drum sounds I wanted.
However, when I went back to Jamstix, ie. the original VSTi that I had done the arrangement in, it had all been reset!!! It seems as though the loading of Jamstix a second time set everything back to the default. Although it is not likely to need to load a second Jamstix VSTi, I think it is important for Jamstix to check at load time for another running instance, if possible, or warn that a current arrangement/settings will be lost, if loading a second VSTi instance would result in this end result
Fortunately, I had saved the project before I started to load DFHS and therefore could simply close and re-open the project to get my Jamstix settings back......but that was luck more than judgement....
