Hi, I use Jamstix 4 with Studio One 6. I am working on a song where the time signature changes from 4/4 to 3/4 for 36 bars (bar 15 to 51). The part in 3/4 is 90bpm, the rest is 60bpm. I have set the time signature correspondingly in Jamstix and also activated the corresponding option in the options menu. Here is my problem: Jamstix counts the bars in sync with Studio One up until it reaches bar 51 where the counter jumps back to 43 for one bar and then forward again to bar 52.

All suggestions welcome!

I don't use Studio One but you need to have time sig markers in your DAW corresponding to where the time sig changes occur. Do you have time sig markers at both bars 15 AND 51?

Well unfortunately, if you have time sig markers @ both locations and they are configure correctly (TS & Tempo), I can't think of anything else to suggest. It jumps back to bar 43 just once and then to bar 52 and continues on properly through the rest of the song? Is bar 43 the beginning of a Song Part or in the middle of one? I have seen weird jumps like that before but it has always been at the very end of the song and never affected anything and was only a visual thing. Sorry I can't offer any more suggestions. If I do think of something I will reply again to this thread.

EDIT: Just a thought, is it possible that if there are multiple Song Parts between bar 15 and 51, you forgot to change one of the Song Part time sigs?
