I know this bug has nothing to do with sound, just report that it has not been fixed. |
That's odd, the bug is fixed for us here.
Can you send me the logs via 'Email Tech Support' in the help menu or manager? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hi,
Nice additions! Great to see a new version here!
I observe a lockup in Ableton Live when I try to drag in Song MIDI.

This is an old issue and it happens in a 3rd-party framework we are using and we had hoped their latest version would fix it _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ouch!
Thanks for the reply.
BTW, FWIW, it sure would be nice and snappy to be able to drag Part titles or the Song title directly into a DAW w/o going thru that extra dialog. <g>
Here's hoping the framework vendor can come thru for us sometime soon! |

| BTW, wrt. getting MIDI out of Jamstix, either at the Part or the Song level, either direct to a DAW, or to a file - is there a known stable way to do it currently? |

Sorry for the late reply!
Yes, you can use 'Save MIDI File' from the MIDI export dialog. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I sent logs weeks ago. Did you check it out?
I wonder if it's just a problem on my side. |

Thank you Ralph!
I notice and report that MIDI dragging into Bitwig Studio (rather than Ableton Live) is working smoothly so far here. |

Hi. Comments here in this Forum are pretty sparse at this point, mostly I think because the program is mature and basically "just works".
I have no idea if there are more updates/upgrades to come, though I hope so!
If you have a specific question, you can post it and there is a decent chance of somebody answering it. |

Hi perc_perc,
You're in the right place it's just not as active as it used to be. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask them, someone will jump in to answer 99% of the time if they can. |

This morning I got a notification from KVR that Jamstix current version had been updated to 4.5.0. I got pretty excited for a few minutes that perhaps there was some new activity.
Just checked in here to get the details but it looks like progress was overstated. Still living in hope for a VST3 version that keeps Jamstix usable as VST2 becomes obsolete. |

| Oh, wow, my eyes were shining as I read you post. Sometimes I think in what kind of things would Jamstix be able to do in year 2024. |
