I love this feature, it really nails the groove! But there doesn't seem to be a way of adjusting it globally, for all Song Parts. Have I missed something?
Secondly, I would love to be able to automate this. I see there used to be a Drive/Laidback automation option but it seems to have been deprecated. Is that so or, again, have I missed something? |

The Feel generator is only applied on a song part by song part basis and can't be applied globally. However if you want the Player to push or pull globally or by song part, you can use the sliders in the Time window of the Song Sheet.

Right click the Feel generator and assign a CC to automate it. See page 43, 14.7 of the User Manual. |

Thanks for that. I have worked out a way of 'global' control. After assigning the controllers in each JS Part, you create a MIDI track of shared parts of the length of the shortest repeat (to ensure it gets triggered however you change the arrangement). It's a simple matter to then add a controller event and change it globally or by section, depending on how you set up the sharing.

What's the difference between this and Pocket?
Cheers,
Duncan

Hi Duncan,
I don't remember where I saw this but I believe that, if memory serves me, the "Time" sliders shift the complete performance forwards or backwards in relation to the Host clock whereas the "Pocket" adjustment also does this but creates variations within the player model limbs also. Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong. |

Hello, at least the manual says this regarding pocket:
| Quote: | | Each drummer model applies the pocket setting differently for different sounds. For instance, a drummer might alter the timing of a hihat note to a larger extent than a kick note. |
