If Ralph has chosen to abandon Jamstix that would be a great shame but he has every right to do that if he so chooses. We took the risk of buying from what appears to be a one-man operation. I have a lot of software and hardware that is now obsolete because the companies folded or were sold. So be it.

I'm torn between being:
angry that he hasn't bothered to tell us and still seems to be selling the products, and
worried that something bad has happened to him.

yes, on a personal level I hope everything is ok with him.

Within reason, he has a right to do whatever he wants but continuing to sell the products with zero support or no official announcement of what is happening to the product is not acceptable in my opinion.

leaving us with a VST3i might be good to ensure future compatibility, but yeah... he has a life

Any word on Ralph? Is he doing okay? I see all the products are on holiday sale right now. I sure hope a VST 3 version is coming. VST 2 will be getting dropped by Steinberg soon.

Update: I needed help with a sales issue with Rayzoon and I'm happy to report I got an email from Ralph who helped me quickly and promptly. Thank you, Ralph. Also Ralph said he was doing okay and that VST 3 development is one of the goals for 2024.

It's good to hear that Ralph is still around. I posted in the Jamstix & Sonar thread last January about Jamstix 4 not working, with no response. I emailed Ralph a few days later, still no response. Jamstix 3 is working okay on my system, though.

I wonder if any thought has been given to having Rayzoon get acquired. I'd be very surprised if the companies that make Superior, or even one of the big DAW makers, wouldn't be interested in having Jamstix be part of their products. There really is nothing else like it on the market.

I keep an old system around just so I can use it since it doesn't work on Silicon Macs.

Thanks for this I have been wondering if Ralph was OK. I thought the covid might have got him..

Been using Jamstix for some time but still a novice with it I do recommend it on various places for people who want the nearest thing to a real drummer.
I got BFD on a crazy deal, so between the Jamstix kits and that I really have pretty much any drum sound I could need.

Being able to have Jamstix play other VSTs is brilliant and Azimuth on here isxa genius if you get stuck.

I very often read through the comments and pick up tips from questions other users have had answered.

I'm a bit late to the party in this thread. Figured I'd share my experience with these guys in case it helps anybody wondering about their presence in the forums.

I have been using "Jamstix 3" off and on for about ten or twelve years now.
Although their forum presence has diminished they have always been good about responding to my emails.
