I listened to Daryl Hall with Cee Lo Green performing "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)" with Kyde Jones on bass and I decided to try the bass line and comping on B3 organ. I loaded up Jamstix, chose the R&B default kit, drummer Dave, Restrained and it came up with a perfect groove to work on the left hand bass and comping.

This was the inspiration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yxoob6aPtk

Yeah I remember the first time I saw that on Daryl's House and it was one of the best performances from that series IMO. It smoked and felt so much less scripted than a lot of the other performances I've seen there. Great show regardless. I always liked Hall and Oates even though it wasn't cool to admit it in my circle at the time. LOL

Same thing in my circle at the time also. I think they even lived (post fame) in the town I grew up in.

Here's one that I also thought was brilliant from Daryl's House:

I always loved the horns on this song. The Guitar interplay between Daryl and T-Bone is fantastic also.

Agree, it doesn't hurt to have AWB's Alan Gorrie playing bass and conducting!
