Would it be possible to have a switch that would disable the use of both the internal sounds and the external vsti? You might asky, "WHY?" Well, it's because I was thinking of using an older, not so powerful computer, to be my dedicated "drum brain", using only the MIDI that is generated by Jamstix to output to an external, hardware drum machine.
If not, would it be sufficient to just use a "dummy" vsti? something that basically does nothing? (to conserve cpu/memory)
By the way, I would like to echo everyone's sentiments--great product! I've already pre-ordered my Jamstix. |

Just load the internal sounds and then go to mapping and select 'No Sound' as the sample for each sound. Then save this mapping as 'No Sound' or something like that and you can load it whenever you need it.
This will cause Jamstix to unload its internal samples and won't waste CPU cycles either.
