|
|
The plugin runs like a snap in Cubase Artist 12 and Windows 11 64 bit. But there are some strange things I don't understand:
If I open a menu - for example to choose a rhythm - mouseclicks on "Cancel" or "OK" are not recognized. I have to use Return or ESC. If I want to choose a style the list is only clickable up to the say 8th element - the following are only reachable by using the arrow-keys. Preview-button isn't reachable at all, neither by mouse nor by key.
Can you help? |

| Hello. I'm having the same problem with Jamstix 4.4.6 and Cubase. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

|

Finally I've found a workaround:
Open Jamstix, choose "allow GUI resize" (I use the German version of Cubase and choose "Größenanpassung des Fensters zulassen"). A second (black) Jamstix window appears right behind the Jamstix GUI. All menu items in Jamstix are now clickable. The drawback: the GUI isn't movable. But Jamstix works as expected. If you want to close Jamstix, you have to click on the upper right edge of the black window.
Hope it helps. |

Thank you E_Bop, you're right.
If I activate the option to allow the plugin GUI to be resized in Cubase 12 Jamstix responds to mouse clicks on every UI object (OK & LOAD buttons included). The problem is, in my system the plugin window is partially located out of the screen and I can't access some of the UI elements. And there is no way I can move the plugin window.
I think this is a problem that Jamstix developers should address. Jamstix is a fantastic program, I hope we will get some info from the developers. |

|

Hi cley,
this is the hour of workarounds
I found that Jamstix lies over the Cubase window and makes working impossible. The workaround: move the Jamstix window to a second desktop! Changing between desktops via Strg-Windows is easy. That works for me, although it's not - well - the common way to work with plugins.
Hope it helps you - a bit... |

Thanks a lot E_Bop.
I'll try your solution, though I would prefer to have both Jamstix and Cubase in the same desktop. I don't feel too comfortable with the idea of switching desktops. |
