Hello,
I am using Jamstix within Plogue Bidule, together with other VST plug-ins. My old computer is reaching its limits. It is actually a laptop. The CPU is outdated but has a 2 Ghz frequency which is very suitable for live music softwares. It has no dedicated graphical unit.
Therefore I would like to reduce the load of Jamstix on the laptop as much as possible, especially the graphical load.
My usage of Jamstix : building songs (Intro, Chorus, Verse, Outro) and then live looping.
I do not use the 3D animations of the kits at all.
Normally the Jamstix interface is kept closed in the VST host, but I need to open it each time that I start a new song, making changes to the BUILD page and going back to live jamming again. The CPU of the computer gets very busy when it needs to display the Jamstix interface.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
knowing that replacing the laptop is not an option 😉
Best regards,
Darius |
