Not sure what I am doing wrong.

I have tried the usual Full, Auto, Bar all while the bar, part and even song were unlocked.

Default, Busy & Ride, Restrained all work of course nothing is recomposed. Maybe that is correct behavior for those options.

I am running 4.5.0 Beta 1 in Reaper v6.63 on Windows 10.

I suspect I am doing something wrong but I cannot figure this one out.

I also searched to see if anyone else has seen this and I did not find anything.

Hey Brian,
It looks like all of the Song Parts are locked so they can't recompose. How did you try to "unlock" the parts?

i tried other things as well after unlocking. i am paranoid so i always lock Bars/Parts when i get to them to where i want them to be until i need to unlock them.

i even cleared the groove, made AI changes including changing drummers, style, several tweaks on the groove. the only time i could get the part to change was changing the Default, Busy & Ride, Restrained options i mentioned.

i have played with real drummers that when i ask them if they can tweak the groove a little, they play the exact same thing but swear they are not. Ralph is an evil genius to have built this feature virtually Smile

as i mentioned it appears to be working now.
