Hi Ralph,
I recently upgraded my Windows PC to a Dell XPS 9500 running Windows 11.
I found that Jamstix (version 4.4.6) doesn't follow odd meters in Cubase 12, but Cubase 12 has lots of other problems so I'm waiting for the next update to see if that gets better.
With Cubase 11 playback of odd meters works but I just discovered another issue. Dialog boxes for loading style, drummer and kits don't respond to mouse clicks. This all works fine on my old laptop running Windows 10.
I've tried modifying various graphics settings with no success. Any ideas what the problem might be? Should I try the beta?
Thanks |

I have Cubase 11 and Windows 11 and haven’t noticed any issues but haven’t been using my DAW a lot lately. I can check out these issues in the next day or two. I don’t have Cubase 12 yet, though. _________________ Core i7 4712QM, 16GB, Cubase 9 Pro on Windows 10. Scarlett 2i2. M-Audio Axiom Pro 61. Komplete 8. Jamstix 3.6. Thanks for taking a look. Your help is appreciated.
I installed the beta version. The unresponsive dialog box issue is resolved but the UI is tiny. The Jamstix UI is tiny and in the upper left corner of the plugin window. If I change the UI scale then the UI and plugin window grow and the plugin window becomes giant. If I turn on "Allow Window to be Resized" then the UI gets pinned to the upper left corner of the screen not even aligned with the plugin window, and I get the "Your DAW plugin interface is not High-DPI aware" message. It seems like these problems must all be related but I haven't figured out a combination that makes everything work at the same time. |

| I just changed the UI scale back to 100% and now the plugin window is sized properly but the dialog box unresponsiveness is back. Ugh, right back to where I started. |

I am using Cubase 11.0.41 Build 448, Jamstix 4.4.6, and Windows 22H2 Build 22621.160 (Windows 11 latest Insider Beta build).
I loaded several of my projects with odd times signatures and found no problems. I also tried opening the Jamstix GUI and loading different drummers, styles, and kits, and found no issues.
I am using the Windows insider build (Beta program) but don't remember having any issues in the past.
In Jamstix options I have the "Cache User Interface" selected. I honestly can't remember what issues that was designed to fix but you might try it if you don't have it selected. I have a 4K display and I DO have it set to 4K in Windows with 150% scaling. I DO NOT have HiDPI enabled in Cubase as I found that Windows handles the scaling nicely on its own. You might look into some of those settings.
As far as the odd time signatures in Cubase 12, I can't really offer any advice since I don't have C12 yet.
If you provide some more descriptions of situations you are having trouble with, I am happy to test it out here.

Hi Jason,
I'm using Cubase 11.0.41 Build 448, Jamstix 4.5.0 Beta 1, Windows 11 Home 21H2 22000.739.
In Jamstix I have "Cache User Interface" enabled. I believe that is the default.
My display is set to 3840x2400 and 250% scaling. These are the "recommended" settings.
I turned OFF HiDPI in Cubase and it all seems to be working fine now. I didn't even know that setting was there. Thanks very much for your help!
