|
|
Hello, I'm trying to route jamstix outputs to 8 different channels to split the drums to multitrack for separate processing, but for unknown reason there is no any signal coming from these outputs:

Did I miss something or it's another bug? |

It very likely may be something that is not set up correctly in the host DAW.
For example, in Cubase, the outputs of the VST Instrument need to be “activated”.
More information is needed to offer much help, starting with the DAW being used. _________________ Core i7 4712QM, 16GB, Cubase 9 Pro on Windows 10. Scarlett 2i2. M-Audio Axiom Pro 61. Komplete 8. Jamstix 3.6. Absolute 3 VST. 418 Carrier Landings.

In Ableton DAW with other plugins (like EZDrummer or Algonian Atlas) all I need to do is just let the plugin out audio to these outputs, and then I can see signals going on like this:

As you can see I sent first 2 drums (kick and snare) to channels number 2 and 3 in EZDrummer mixer, then created new audio track, selected EZDrummer as input to that track and now I can see incoming audio meters on these channels 2-3 (and I can assign any of them to this audio track).
This method is classical for the Ableton, I don't know other ways to do this, but Jamstix is not sending any audio to selected channel like EZDrummer - there is only silence.
Do I need to do something special to let the Jamstix actually start sending audio to multitrack outputs that is assigned to different drums?
I'm using latest ableton 11.1.1 |

1) Do you have "Downmix" enabled in the Jamstix Mixer window?
2) In the Kit window, do you have a multi-channel routing preset chosen in the "Kit" dropdown menu: Kit>Audio Output Routing Presets? |
