I am trying to bring JS4 into a song I created a while back. I can get JS4 as a VSTi into the song, but when I try to load a saved song that I already made, it's not loading the song.
When I hit the Load command (from the Song drop down) nothing comes up. IOW, no window opens for me to select which save I want to load.
I am on JS4 4.5.0 Beta 1
Tried to load a saved song with a new project in Cakewalk and I am getting the same results. |

| Try saving your project and closing your DAW. Then reopen your DAW and see if you can load it. |

No that didn't work.
I was just saving that song in another project version. I will try a few things out and see what I come up with. |

| OK sorry it didn't help then. There is an issue I reported to Ralph with 4.5.0 that when I first open my DAW and then Jamstix' GUI, I can load songs or restore points. However after the first time I close the Jamstix GUI, I can no longer load either after reopening Jamstix' GUI unless I close and reopen the DAW. Just starting a new project won't fix it. |

| It works as expected in Reaper. Will have to contact CW devs on this one. |

Just to make sure…. Did you check BEHIND the DAW windows for the load window? I remember it doing that back in beta, I think.

This is also happening to me. So at first I thought the issue resolved itself. But it didn't. Still happening as you say. |

That was one of the first things I did when the Load/Save window wasn't coming up. Thanks Jas. |

I will have to correct myself AZ. It only works in Reaper on the first try. I (wrongly) assumed that it worked. Never tried it after closing and reopening the UI.
One thing I did notice between both CW and Reaper is that there appears a blank window in the taskbar next to the app that has JS4. I have two screen shots. One in CW and the other in Reaper.

| Yes, I noticed that also when I discovered the problem. I tried closing that window but it made no difference. I still had to close and restart Reaper. |
