Hi there,
This product is looking extremly cool. I just bought Groove Agent and i cannoy wait for JamStix to come out.
One question i have for you. Can JamStix "Jam" with live input using a mono guitar signal? or does it have to absolutly be MIDI?
Oh, and another question, is there any list i can subscribe to, in order to get news about JamStix?
Thanks! |

Hi Alouf,
thank you for your interest in Jamstix.
As far as jamming to audio is concerned: we did have some early prototypes that would adjust the drum velocity to the overall velocity of audio input. However, Jamstix requires information about what you are playing, which it can glean easily from MIDI input, whereas analysis of the audio input would be very CPU-expensive. We are still considering the velocity option for a later version of Jamstix simply because it sure was a lot of fun when we were testing it
We do not have a list server set up, yet. Once it is I'll post a sticky message in this forum. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
