hi, Ralph. another newbie question...
i followed the tutorial about Arranging.
but when i tried to load multiple rhythms from different keywords (one rhythm from "basic" and one from "funky" for example) i had a problem.
i would only have the one, latest rhythm in the arranger. so if i just loaded a disco rhythm it would be there but then when i would load a blues rhythm, that would be there but no disco rhythm.
can't you load rhythms from different keywords and keep them all at the same time?
also, when i did have a few rhythms loaded and arranged, it seemed like, at times (not always though), it would just play the first beat throughout the whole arrangement. even though the Rhythm tab would signal the new beat change, i couldn't hear the new beats come in. maybe it was my ears...
i tried experimenting to see what i had changed to make the one beat play through the whole arrangement of multiple rhythms but couldn't crack it last night.
i hope theres some basic error i was making and my system isn't buggy.
thanks for your reply in advance.

Here's the steps:
- click LOAD in the rhythm tab
- drag all the keywords you want to use into the middle panel
- highlight all the rhythms in the right panel that you want to load
- click LOAD and all the rhythms should show in the arranger

If you are in manual mode and the 'Use Arrangement' box is checked then it should change rhythms as indicated by the arranger _________________ Ralph Zeuner

thanks, Ralph.
i almost feel guilty asking you basic questions. i do try to figure out answers on my own for a bit but sometimes basic stuff doesn't click in for a long time. if you took longer with your replies it might discourage me from bugging you with newbie questions...
anyway, thanks, and to show my gratitude, i'd like to offer my services down the road if you need some copywriting or copyediting done for your site, manuals or some other media. free, of course, if it's something fairly minor. i'm a professional writer for an ad agency so don't judge my writing by these hastily delivered mails.
anyway, it's all i can think of right now to show my gratitude for your superb customer service. and i will continue to buy Jamstix products.
you may or may not be interested in such an offer; just thought i'd mention it.
thanks.

Don't feel guilty! We are here to help and Jamstix isn't exactly the simplest VSTi on the market...
