|
|
I'm trying to replicate this drum groove and sound, but can't quite nail it.
https://youtu.be/EhqyRKyKkJc
It's kind of country shuffle (maybe?) but the snare brush has me beat to trying to replicate it. It's quite laid back, but the bass slots in and it really grooves along.
Any tips on groove, settings, and kit to replicate it?
Thanks! |

BPM 67-68
Style: Country>Trainbeat>Preset Default
Drummer: James Stix>Preset Precise
Kit: Jazz>Brushes (XL Pak)
Minimum Dynamic Level: 20%
Song Power: 30%
5% Swing?
Hope this helps. Let me know if I'm way off base but it sounds like it would work to me. Cool song. |

Unfortunately, it doesn't really work.
Song BPM is 130bpm, and I need to keep it at that for easy EZBass integration.
Half-time on the trainbeat doesn't seem to work, so I can't bring it down at all.
Half-time on the two-step works though, and is close, so I'll try working with that. |
