I thought I would be able to "turn MIDI off for internal sounds" separately for Drums and Perc channels (like you have the ability to audition one or the other or both using speaker icons next to them on the GUI.

Other than that I guess the way is to turn off "Downmix" and use a breakout of all the 8 mixer tracks, and use the volume sliders to turn everything but the Jamcussion tracks off.

Reaper is not that easy for me to figure routings in though.

At the moment I can't seem to get Superior Drummer to use the SD3 MIDI mapping. It looks like its set, but its sending a bunch of cymbals. I see a lot of settings for MIDI ONLY (but I don't see a place to turn MIDI off for Jamcussion while leaving it on for the DRUMS. )

Thus far I have gotten to where I have what I think should work. I'm hearing the jamcussion, and a MIDI signal is being routed (by forcing Superior Drummer 3 to only hear MIDI channel 10, then sending jamcussion MIDI as CH 11. But I discovered that I can't load a kit with Reaper configured in multitrack like this without weird problems. There are only 2 channels audible now that I've restored the regular Jamstix config. When I attempt to load the SD3 config, it forces downmix, and seems to remove all the kit pieces, which is frustrating, since I am not aware of all the soundsources of all the kit presets, and so I would be at a loss to reproduce presets that I like.

I finally figured out the issues up until this point. I made a post to support to inquire whether there is a way to lock the 'Send to MIDI CH' for Jamcussion and Drums Kits.
