Hello, I downloaded your free version of Jamstix that I am currently testing. I use virtual drums for the creation of rhythms only in the host. I created a personal mapping in the host for diffrent drums vst but it seems that it is impossible to do it with Jamstix free version? When I change the key of an element manually it doesn't work. Moreover the keys do not correspond in Jamstix and in the Host, for example the kick is in C3 but to play it in the host I have to click on C1. Is there a parameter to activate to be able to adjust the notes manually? I work with Studio One 5.
Thank you.

Hi and welcome,

Under Options>User Interface and 3d Kit, enable "Use Yamaha Pitch convention for note values".

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you are expecting to see in your DAW. If you assign a specific midi note to a kit piece, that is what Jamstix is going to transmit to the DAW track.

Sorry for my English. So when I assign another midi note to kick for example which is on C1 by default, then I change for A0 for example, but in the DAW, kick remain on C1 and there is no sound on A0.

Your English is fine, no apologies needed. Your bug finding skills are even better. You are correct, this is not working properly. The key assignment is affecting midi output only.

I will report this to Ralph so he can check it out. Thank you for finding this.

I will look into this as soon as I can. If this is a bug, we'll likely still be able to fix it in the planned December update.
