Hello folks,

New Jamstix 4 user here.

Can anyone direct me to a resource for guidance on mapping off center snare hits? I'm finding the manual doesn't go into much detail about this function.

I am using Jamstix with BFD3 and have mapped off center snare hits and rim shots correctly between Jamstix and BFD but they don't seem to be triggering at any point.

I have Mododrum selected as my output mapping currently as this allows me to access the variation settings in the kit menu which appear to get disabled if I choose BFD as the output map.

Many thanks.

The MODODRUM positioning uses MIDI controllers to send hit position info. Does BFD3 support such a function?
For most libraries with off-center articulations, you'd just map a left or right-hand hit to the 'Offset' articulation in JS. The standard BFD3 mapping in JS4 should do that for you.
