It's difficult to do beats which have some real complex time sigs and such, no?
I have a song in 15/8 I would love to do something over.... |

Hi Jason,
Jamstix 4 can do up to 9/4 or 18/8 so 15/8 shouldn't be an issue. |

TBH, who the heck makes music in that time sig anyway? Like its one thing to have flair and show off what you can do and what you know, but at a certain point, even musician’s musicians can be obnoxious in the way punk players “who don’t care about theory or technique” act......
So IMHO, no....we don’t, Jamstix is literally so advanced, I don’t know how one dude was able to conceptualize and execute it - perfectly
The fact that it can even do what it does in the basic/free versions is insane.... |

TBF and TBH, I was both saying, while I’m sure there are wonderful pieces written in very strange odd time sigs, but if they are TOO complicated for Jamstix 4, IDK, it just seems to me Jamstix is so infinitely applicable, and if I am reading the lit right and watching videos, the Jamcussion makes it even more “perfect.” So with that and the ODd time sig packs, if that doesn’t do it - heck, IDK what to say? Lol Change your Time signature, and just readjust your tempos, rests, note and beat measurements lol
Anything can be achieved
And yes zimuth, you are also right, but on the other hand of the spectrum, you know those ladies in the paint store that want a special white, “not egg shell, not vanilla bean, not archaic stone wall white, I want a white that just defines my personality without being too offensive...” and they are looking at thousands of samples of white with the little sampler folder. It’s like , we know you want the best, and you want it right, but at a certain point, you have to just pick a color and pull the trigger - and let go |

As long as she's not in front of me in line, she can feel free to take all of the time in the world until she finds what she needs. |
