| So I set jamstix in the mixer to 4 out and dowmix unselected. I set up a track for jamstix with 4 ouputs selected. I created 4 jamstix tracks but it just has audio on the first track, whick is the whole kit. |

He says to configure as 8 stereo outs, is that right or should it be 8 mono. It seems like when you mic a drum set it would be mono but maybe I'm thinking of it wrong. |

| Jamstix outputs 8 stereo channels. Some of the drum samples included are recorded in stereo (any one that ends with "CS" [close stereo]) so I've always felt it better to keep things in stereo myself. A stereo recording is twice as large as mono but hard drive storage size these days negates file size concerns in my opinion. |
