I'm looking for help for a uncommon pattern. I don't have any musical theory knowledge. I think the song is in 25...

6+6+6+7

It looks like that:

ABCDEF
ABCDEF
ABCDEF
ABCDEFG
then repeat

All notes are whites, the same length.

I don't know which drummer to use or even if I should alternat as a 6/6 then 7/7 measure. My DAW is Reaper but I don't think it changes anything.

I "feel" like the bass drum could go on A and snare on D but right now I'm just too confused to know what should happen with the measure of 7 notes.

I'm really open to what Jamstix can bring, I have no pre-conceived idea of what it should be. I got the whole Rayzoon software, all of it. I did some experiment with Gavin and Bill but I think I need to tackle the construction first. Sure playing on a metronome and then throwing a "Prog" drummer makes me look like a genius in polyrythm but I would need some help to just not being weird. Smile

Thanks in advance for any idea how to get this done!

First, I am new to this
Second, I don’t know much about MIDI/drum VST in general
Third, I can only guess that this is useful to you as I noticed it myself as a person who works in odd times and all that

There is an Odd time expansion pack
https://www.rayzoon.com/jamstix_expansions.html#ot
OddTime $9
One of the big challenges for any virtual drummer is to support odd time signatures, such as 5/4, 7/8 or 13/8 rhythms. Thanks to its advanced rule-based groove engine, Jamstix can do this without the need for dozens of pre-made static loops for every possible time signature.

The styles included with this MiniPak utilize the groove weights chosen for any given time signature to place kick, snare and hihat notes in a very musical way, allowing you to create a wide range of realistic drum performances for any time signature from 2/8 to 18/8 and 2/4 to 9/4.

New drummer 'Bill' excels at performing simple or complex grooves in any time signature for any genre, from rock to jazz. Lots of unique, controllable idiosyncrasies and unique fills with plenty of sixtuplet patterns round off this powerful drummer model.

Please note that the new styles and 'Bill' can create great drum performances even for standard 4/4 or 6/8 songs so don't overlook this MiniPak just because you don't use odd time signatures.

For $9 how could you not try this dude!!!
Let us know how it is and what you think
If you like it, ill buy it too

Thanks for trying but I already tried Bill/Gavin/Phil (I got everything Rayzoon ever released).

It doesn't work on a 25 notes pattern...

Finally figured it out. It's 3 bars of 6/4 followed by a bar of 7/4 repeated twice. 2 bars of 25/4 would be the correct answer if Jamstix could do that.
