Ive been a fan of KC since I first heard Larks Tongues in Aspic. I've seen a couple of iterations of the band live: the Larks Tongues-era quartet, the Discipline-era quartet, the Power to Believe-era, and the three-drummer group with Rieflin, Harrison and Mastelotto.
I've heard about that camp and I would love to attend it sometime. Now that I'm retired, maybe I'll actually be able to take the time to do it. |

I've been to Camp 5 times and it's amazing. We call it "the best week of the year".
We're just stressed it could be canceled...

That was a joke but when I was in the Navy I went to a bar in Newport RI and the band playing that night did nothing but Reggae covers of Black Sabbath. It was freaking awesome and has always been stuck in the back of my mind. I unfortunately don't remember the bands name but they were incredible.
So if you want to pursue the Reggae/Prog Metal concept, feel free. I will keep my lawyers at bay LOL. |
You could run separate instances of JS without issue. The trick would be emulating some semblance of "logic" between the 2 "Drummers" performances. It could be done but would take some planning I think. Otherwise it would probably sound more like 2 drum kits falling down an elevator shaft. That's my take on it.
That was very funny! |
