That should be all you need to do. Did you try loading a different Jamstix kit to eliminate the chance that the kit you are using had its midi assignments modified?

I don't have EZD2 to check this out but I don't remember anyone else mentioning a similar issue. Hopefully someone with EZD2 can jump in here and check it out for you.

shadowfax_,

I tried driving EZD2 with JS4 on my friends system and it all appeared to be working properly. I tried several different JS kits also, just to be sure, and noticed no issues with the mapping.

If I recall correctly, for Jamstix MIDI output, there are two EZ Drummer choices available.
Whichever one you chose, try the other one. I had a similar issue, and
I think that this was all I had to do.

Hi Kevin,
I think I might have found out where your problem lies with the phantom cymbal. Are you using Jamcussion? If so, go to the Perc window in Jamstix and then in the Kit window enable Kit>No Midi Output For Internal Sounds and see if that solves the problem. I normally keep No Jamcussion checked by default in the Song Builder and today on my friends system we were using Jamcussion and I started getting all kinds of phantom kit piece hits in EZD2, which he uses.
