I recently added a great new trigger to midi product from AudioFront called eDRUMin. I decided to clean up my mappings so I set my MegaDrum and eDRUMin to the default Superior Drummer 3 notes. So now SD (actually SD2 but I've set it to SD3 note mappings for universal compatibility) is working and I open up Jamstix for my favorite, the Bonzo kit and choose an articulation for say the floor tom and hit the floor tom pad - it correctly moves to that note which I then assign but then it still doesn't play it. I'm also having an issue where the hi-hat controller is definitely at 127 (closed) but the hi-hat plays open.
I have Superior Drummer 3 Map In - and Superior Drummer 3 Map Out
Thank in advance for help.
PS. I check the MIDI in notes from the two trigger units (hi-hat, ride, snare and floor tom for eDRUMin - kick, rack toms and crashes on MegaDrum) - they are correct (Floor Tom 1 is note 43) |

I must confess I'm not fully understanding the mapping issue or to be more precise the precise change from what was working for you before.
For the HH issue, there is an option in Jamstix to invert the pedal values. Please see if that fixes the issue for you. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hi Ray,
I don't blame you for not understanding why what was working before isn't now. I have a backup of Jamstix before I changed everything. I'm going to go back and then reintroduce the eDRUMin and proceed from there. The hi-hat pedal open at 127 is really odd. I did try inverting it both on the eDRUMin and in Jamstix. I can't think what would make that happen. Maybe it's something to do with my VST host - Cantabile.
BTW, the eDRUMin is really a great little trigger unit. It only has 4 TRS inputs plus a pedal input but each input can be split for two single zone pads. You really need two of them for a 4 or 5 piece kit with some extra cymbals.
