I'd like to use the Brain to control the Basic Jamstic Drummers (outputting the midi to another drum program). I do this all that time.

However, I'd like to use the Jamcussion Brain along with the Jamcussion built in sounds. But not download the library of "normal" drum sounds that is part of the far larger Jamstix package. I already have more drum samples/packages than I'll ever be able to use.

Is this possible?

Are you using the 'Use AI Files Only...' setting in the manager to keep the sound files from getting installed?

I was previously.

However, when switching to use the Jamstix Data I did not see anyway to select which components could be installed.

It appears as though it is an "install all" data situation. I'd prefer the brain of both and just the Samples of Jamcussion.

Yes, it is a all or nothing situation at the moment. I'm trying to think of a work-around but keep in mind that we're only talking 1.3 to 4 GB of samples depending on your expansions. Do you have storage concerns even at those sizes or is this based on other concerns?

Yes, the folder was over 4 GIGs when I installed everything. (I assume the Jamcussion is only a small fraction of that). I own everthing you sell. Very Happy

Running on SSD drives which is of limited space on all of my machines.

Storage size is my only concern.
