Is there a way to mute the DRUMS and\or PERC module with a midi command\CC?

Thanks

You can send MIDI controller #7 to set the volume and 0 would essentially mute it but this would affect DRUMS and PERC.

OK thanks. I have the volume of mixer channel 7 (ie JC audio) midi-mapped so I can turn it down that way but JC is still heard in the ambience channel (JC ambience is also mapped, but that's two knobs to turn).
I have also set up Parts with\without each brain (using Silent feature) but these are still 'canned' parts that need to be selected.
What I am specifically trying to do is disable\enable one brain or the other during live looping to have a little more real time control ie love this groove but would just like drummer to stop for a bit.
Any idea of another way to do this (other than turning on\off the modules-which I can't lol).

Also noticed (in Liveloop mode) that if I map a CC to a brain element, it only works the very first time a part plays. Fill and groove triggers also intermittently do this.

I'll see about getting MIDI CC control for brain muting into the next update. Plus a fix for the liveloop issue.

Jamstix 4.4.4 is now available with support for module muting via CC. Simply right-click on the song power knob and map 'Muting (Drums)' and/or 'Muting (Jamcussion)'. This version also fixes the Liveloop issues.

Just had a go with these new features and they are fantastic. The ability to mute the brains allows for some really dynamic live playing; with just 2 pads you can trade off fills between the two players like a real live drum-off. Doubles the fun of Liveloops!

Thanks again for implementing this Ralph. I can't say enough good about your service.

The other issue is also solved.
