Hi,
I've noticed that when I load my song (which contains a Jamstix track), the drums sound as though they're being passed through a HPF - i.e. somewhat muffled.
Re-loading the kit eliminates this.
Any idea why this might be.
I'm using : latest Reaper + Jamstix 4
Cheers

Could you send me the REAPER project so I can try to duplicate the issue? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

If you reload the kit and then save the project (in the host) and then reload the project again (in the host) does it revert back to the muffled sound?
I am just wondering if something in the kit or mixer of Jamstix got messed up and then the project was saved with those settings.
Of course, if you load the kit, save the project, and then when you reload the project the muffled sound is still there, then something is probably load initially loading correctly. _________________ Core i7 4712QM, 16GB, Cubase 9 Pro on Windows 10. Hi both
I have sent details by e-mail.
I did some tests this morning and found that the muffled effect didn't happen on my old DAW, only my new one.
Not really sure why/how, but possibly hardware specific?
Cheers

I've checked this out and cannot reproduce the muffling. Given that it only occurs one one of your machines, this may just be an unfortunate config issue on that machine.
I also could not reproduce the kit freeze. Are you on PC or Mac?
The bar 27 snare roll is suppressed because of the following ride hit, which is too fast for the hand to transition. You can see that by hovering over the note when it is crossed out red and reading the reason in the status bar. You can change this by giving the snare roll a lower priority level so that the ride will be suppressed instead.
Bar 30 is a weird intermediate state due to AUTO composition mode and the bar being locked at a certain point. It should be benign. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for looking. I'll let you know if any other clues turn up, but I can work with it as is.
I'm on PC, both machines, old is Win 7 with onboard sound, new is Win 10 with MOTU 2408.
Thanks for the info on the other issues too.
Cheers
