Hello, all!
I have:
- The recent JamStix (4.3.1)
- Ableton Live Standard 10.1 (64-bit)
- NI Battery 4
- Windows 10 PRO 64-bit
I am trying to route JS4 to NI Battery.
For testing:
- I added a Kick sample to the <C3> key/cell in Battery 4
- I added a Snare sample to the <D3> key/cell in Battery 4
In JS4:
- I brought up a basic kit and saw that the Kick was set to <C3>, as well.
- I right-clicked a piece and selected to make ALL "MIDI OUTPUT ONLY"
This is my setup:
- One track for JS4
- One track for NI Battery 4:
> Configured as MIDI FROM "JS4 track"
> Monitor IN is selected (Although I have also tried AUTO and arming the track, but still nothing)
When I press PLAY in Ableton, JS4 begins playing, but I get no sound, nor MIDI activity, on my NI Battery 4 track.
When I change the NI MIDI FROM to my MIDI controller, I can play the Kick/Snare fine.
But... it seems the MIDI is not making it from the JS4 to my NI track.
I am sure I am doing something wrong somewhere...
Could someone, please, help me get this going?
Thank you!
Shane
P.S. I have also selected the MIDI OUTPUT MAPPING to be:
Native Instruments > Battery 4.
When I click the Kick, JS4 shows it to on C1 - so I moved the sample in NI to the C1 cell - but still nothing.
Which I click the Kick in JS4, I see MIDI activity in JS4 (No sound), but MIDI does not appear to be getting from JS4 to the NI track, still. |
