The CPU workload of Jamstix is very high. I have a project with Studio One 4.5 on a Mac OSX 10.13.6 and can see in the performance-list that Jamstix is driving the CPU to the maximum. |

It will only drive up one core and only when the 3D kit is active. Higher priority tasks will take precedence so the only adverse effect should be the 3D kit frame rate dropping when things get busy for the CPU. We are also working on ways to reduce 3D kit CPU usage on macOS in the next Beta. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Can I disable the 3D Kit completely? I have set all values to minimal or low, but the CPU is still very high. Jamstix takes up to 50% of the CPU, as indicated in the performance- meter in Studio One. |

That does not sound like the 3D kit. Please click OPTIONS while playing so no kit is shown and if you still see 50% CPU usage in S1, please send me the logs via 'Email Tech Support' from the help menu. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Using latest beta on Macos Mojave in Cubase 10. CPU use very high as I was was playing all channels through one stereo out from Jamstix (downmix?). I've routed to six separate stereo channels and the CPU usage dropped like a stone.
This may of course be due to any number of other different things and I may not be reliably recalling the steps I took when getting the drums into Cubase, but for whatever reason the CPU use has changed dramatically for the better. (I absolutely love some of the funk rhythms and drummers in Jamstix 4)
