|
|
Hello,
I have an old Reaper project done with jamstix 3, that used to load fine.
I have since upgraded to jamstix 4, when I try to open the Reaper project, it tells me it can't find jamstix 3, I don't remember deleting it, but maybe I did...
anyway...
I put jamstix 4 plugin on that track, however, Jamstix 4 does not play the tune.
Is there a process for opening older files done with jamstix 3 using jamstix 4 and having it work properly - that is as the project was done with correct drummer / drum kit?
Thanks |

Since the host controls the data storage, the only way to transfer from JS3 to JS4 is by saving the arrangement in JS3 via Song Menu -> Save Song As and then loading in JS4 via Song menu -> Load Song. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hmm... so I need to reinstall JS3 to be able to play these old projects.
Will they play properly when I reinstall JS3?
Thanks |

| There's no reason they shouldn't play properly as long as everything JS3 related (expansion paks) is reinstalled also. |

You really just need to open the project in JS3 and do the saving I described. no need to even play it. All you're doing is getting the song data from the host and saving it. JS4 can read JS3 song data and reproduces it with the same sound as JS3. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
