I have used Jamstix 3--and now 4--on about a half dozen projects to date. I have enjoyed the reality it brings to midi drum tracks.

The problem I'm having with the current project: I have built a song in Jamstix 4 that uses a couple of my own grooves. I have a drummer loaded and have set up custom feel settings for all song parts. This is all working as expected except for the Power Vary setting. Regardless of setting, I notice all notes have the same velocity, in this case '79'.

I have tested a bar in preview mode. While cycling through the same bar, I can adjust 'Timing Vary', for example, and this has a noticeable effect on each note, so the bar itself does not appear locked. But Power Vary does not respond to any changes made in a similar way.

Any idea on what is going on here?

Power vary is not written into the note so it is not shown in the bar editor. It is a play filter that is applied when the note is played.
