Can someone please tell me how to get JS on to separate tracks...I'm the first to admit that I'm not the sharpest tool in the toolbox when it comes to computers but I can get ezdrummer and addictave drums on to separate tracks easily.. but not JS...
why is is so convoluted?
tried all sorts of stuff but I don't have a lot of time and it's easier to end up using ezdrummer again..
for instance ..in the kit drop down menu is ..send to midi channel which lists 16 midi channels ...send what to midi channel?
the whole kit? I want the kit on separate channels..
I'm easily confused and really do wish Ralph had spent the time on making it easier to use rather than the 3D kit which we really don't need..yeah it's fun but, we don't need it..
sorry to moan about such a great piece of software
Cubase 10 on Windows 7. |

Don't confuse audio and midi. The midi channel setting you are referring to is to force Jamstix' midi output out on a specific midi channel if you like to keep your drum midi on a specific channel as many do or to drive a midi sound generator that is looking for its data on a specific channel.
Now for Jamstix audio output to be on seperate channels:
1) Make sure that "DOWNMIX" is toggled off in the Mixer window.
2) In the Mixer or Kit window "Kit" dropdown, Audio Output Routing Presets>In the flyout, choose one of the presets.
As for the 3d Kit, you'd be surprised how many users minds changed, regarding necessity, once they got to use it in the beta cycle. That includes me. |
