Same here... Being stuck with 3.6 and to me it's a bad place. Complex and with bugs.

The macOS Beta will start soon. Once it does, we will have better release estimates. Sorry about the delays!

Hello!

I see that the new MacOS 10.14 (Mojave) was just released.

Do we know if Jamstix 4 will be compatible with that version?

Did the Beta pilot start already, or is this still 'on ice'....?

It would be nice to get just some kinda update.
More than 10 month since windows release...which is now already at version 4.2...and OSX internal beta hasn't even started yet Crying or Very sad

That's right. It's really disappointing. It feels like they have given up on the OSX version.

The roll out of Jamstix 3 was also rife with delays and missed projections. If anything had changed regarding Ralph's intent to release the OS X version of JS4, he would be the first one on the forum explaining the circumstances causing it.
The OS X release is still in the works. This is just the way things go sometimes, especially in the Jamstix universe.

I'm thinking of buying the PC version to use on a Vienna Ensemble Pro slave machine, as in interim solution until the mac version is finally released. Does anyone know if I upgrade to Jamstix4, the license will be good on either PC/Mac platforms?

Hi Dewdman,

You do get both versions with your Jamstix license.

Jamstix 4 is such a refreshing instrument to play and use; really looking forward to the beta appearing on Mac. Keep up the good work and thanks.

Steve.

Hi...

Just to say I can confirm I have also got JS4 working in VE PRO 6. (I do have a windows system). Just to test flexibility I had JS4 in VE Pro 6, driving SSD direct into Pro Tools. I do not have to do it this way, but wanted to check it would work.
