Hi All,

Jamstix 4.2.0 Beta 3 64 bit. In Reaper 5.941.

I have no sounds.

I have tested, by just adding a new song in Reaper with just a new instance of JS4 with default kits / songs etc.

This happened after I tried loading a sound while the host was running which seems to have corrupted something or other. Since then, I updated to the current beta.

JS3 still working ok.

Here's a bit more after some twiddling...

It's as though JS4 wants to load midi output only. I can manually load a drum sound the usual way - click on the drum, right click, change drum sound - and then the drum produces sound. But, if I load a full kit, then there are no sounds.

Use the Manager to repair just Jamstix 4 itself, not the expansions and under options make sure that "Install AI files without sound data" is UNchecked. It's explained in the Beta 2 release notes here:

I did the same thing Ian when I installed the latest beta myself and it really had me scratching my head for a while.
