Hi,
I got some problems.
1. In Studio One 4 I trigger my SSD4 with Jamstix 4.1.0. This works fine. So the settings between Jamstix and SSD4 must be right. But I got no sound when I move my mouse over an instrument in the groove section or when I klick on an instrument in the kit section. The option "Auto Audit Sounds" is on. When I play the song all works fine amd jamstix follows Studio One and is triggering SSD4. Don't know since when this problem exists. Maybe already with the first version 4 of Jamstix. I realised it only now.
2. In the manager tool I set the Jamstix data folder to "G:\Jamstix 4 Data", but every time when I load or save a song Jamstix opens "C:\ProgramData\Jamstix4\data\songs". Why?
3. When I build a song structure like
VERSE
VERSE
CHORUS
VERSE
VERSE
CHORUS
CHORUS
Jamstix creates the following:
Verse 1
Chorus 1
Verse 2
Chorus 2
but I want to have
Verse 1
Verse 2
Chorus 1
Verse 3
Verse 4
Chorus 3
Chorus 4
Now I try to create a new part after Verse 1, but Jamstix hang up. After close and reopen Jamstix a black window with the message "Jamstix is loading ..." appears. So I have to close and reopen my complete DAW to work with Jamstix again. I think this behaviour is new since 4.1.0.
Need help, please. |

The song builder will likely work the way you intend if you uncheck “link like parts” in the song builder area. With it checked, all Chorus, Verse, etc., must be equal length, etc.
As for the clicking and auditioning it sounds like possibly the focus is not correct in the window and the mouse movements and clicks are not getting passed. Perhaps there is a setting in S1 that affects this?

Sorry, it doesn't help. The parts are created, not colored now. Trying to create a new part after current part Jamstix hangs up again. Doesn't matter if I create a new song with the builer or I load an existing song. If I try to create a new part after current part it hangs up. This is new in 4.1.0. Before that it worked. |

The only thing I found is "Release Audio Device in Background". I selected it but no sound again. |

| The "add a part" function is working properly for me in Reaper. Use the email tech support function in the Manager to send Ralph the files with a description of the problem. |

Sorry for the question, but which files should I send? The S4 song or something from Jamstix? I don't know exactly what you mean. |

Thanks a lot.
When I wrote the message to Ralph I recognized that I didn't describe the problem exactly. Jamstix hangs up when I create the new part after current part and then I try to give it a name. |

Now it works. In the KIT section I had to right-klick on every kit piece and choose Set to MIDI OUTPUT ONLY |

| If you right click in the Kit window, you can choose "Set All To "MIDI OUTPUT ONLY". |
