Hi Ralph,
The Jamstix 1 grooves are not composing properly in any time signature greater than 4/4. I had noticed this in earlier builds but forgot to report it. |

This is actually a neat idea, Azimuth. I've been prototyping a selectable wrap point in 16th on the importer. So, if your imported groove is in 4/4 but your song is in 6/4, you'd set it to 'Wrap at 16' and the pattern would wrap after 16 ticks (=4/4) so the whole bar is filled. However, if you set it to let's say 14, the pattern will repeat after 14 ticks, before it is finished, which yields some interesting variations. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| That does sound very interesting Ralph, I can see where that would be quite capable of creating some very strange rhythms. Great idea as usual. |
