Ralph just helped me get the 3D kit to work correctly by disabling the 3D hardware acceleration under the Troubleshooting section of the Jamstix Manager.
My main instrument is bass. When playing with a band I often watch the drummer's kick drum foot to lock in to his pattern. The 3D kit has been helpful, especially the rotation feature. |

Glad to see you're getting use out of the 3D kit. Some time ago, we had another user point out the exact same thing, locking into the kick pedal while playing bass. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks, this worked for me too! I can now turn up the kit detail without the kit and meters lagging. Awesome!

| Just wanted to add my comments about the surprising usefulness of the 3D kit. I've been using Jamstix 4 in Cubase to send some quick playthroughs of songs to friends for remote practice before getting together for a weekend's recording. Everyone finds a quick video with the 3d kit much more interesting and enjoyable and engaging than just an audio file. Great fun and a brilliant idea. |
