Much better statement of my interest than originally posted Exclamation

I hope this stimulates additional comment and creative ideas shortly. Hopefully the post will still be monitored following your fine clarification

Regards,
Thom B

I've used JS to add some 'humanising' extras to simple EDM loops - dont forget you can alsoroute the MIDI out to other synths to get any sound you like for kit pieces...

I thought this thread might be a good place to ask what Euclid and Sophistica AI expansions are for.

When I first looked at them I thought they might be for making 2 bar EDM type beats. Are they just more advanced AI? It would be great to get more explanation.

Returning to update:

Got the rundown on Euclidean Rythms here:

Found the Sophistica Manual:

Am I right assuming Breakbeat is for composing hiphop type loops?

Yes, that is what the Breakbeat Pak is geared towards but you can get extremely interesting results mixing and matching drummers and styles.

I'm hoping it can help with the 60's-70's style funk and R&B that producers sample. Just bought it.

I think a lot of that could be accomplished with just the included Funk and R&B styles in JS Standard. The Loopey drummer model from Breakbeat would probably do some pretty cool stuff with that also.
