Hi Ralph,
as a struggling small studio guy I have to do quite some work off supplied MIDI files, replace the GM sounds with better samples, edit the song structure and so on, record some real guitars and vocals - you get the picture.
What I would love to see is a MIDI drum enhancement mode in JS 2, not using the rhythm and arrangement tabs in JS, but using a GM drumtrack input into JS and "humanizing" it in real time, mapping the output to DFHS or others.
Ideally it would have adjustable levels of humanization and variations for the most important instruments without changing the supplied drumtrack as such.
Most important is the ease of use and quick operation - adjust the sliders till you like the results, export or record the results and bingo.
Of course that's no comparison to a real JS track, but often time is money, you know...
Don't know if this is at all possible, just asking.
Cheers, Rhino |

This wouldn't really be within the realm of Jamstix' purpose; it sounds more like an advanced MIDI filter. We will take note of this and see if we can fit it into the JS2 or other future projects.
Thanks for the suggestion! _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Cool, thank you, Ralph !
I wouldn't even mind buying a separate product for this purpose, and I know some others, who would, too.
The way JS handles humanization is so far ahead of the "competition" ...
Have a nice day,
