|
|
| I would like to create a drum pattern with a definite hihat foot close sound. When I am in the bar editor, under the hats/rides, I don't see that choice, even though the hihat that's loaded in my current drum kit has a foot close sound. Is there a way to specify a foot close articulation in a user-created groove? |

I don't quite understand what you are asking. In the Bar Editor when I double click a LF cell it adds a Hi-Hat foot close hit by default. Then under "Change Sound" there are options for Kick or Hi-Hat Foot Splash.
EDIT: Now I see what you mean. You are trying to add the hit to either LH or RH when it needs to be in the LF cell since it is a pedal. |

Okay, thank you! So that means that when I load that it will obviously cut off an open hi hat that is playing, even though it is not in the same row. I'm catching on! |

Correct, just like a real drummer. Hit the Cymbal with one of his hands and close the Hi-Hat to choke it with his foot. Chokes on the other Cymbals are placed on the opposite hand after the Cymbal hit. |
