I am reading through the Manual to get to know the ins and outs of the software.
Manual states:
'Here’s a step-by-step guide for your first Jamstix experience:
press ‘Create Song’ to create a song sheet based on the preset style, drummer and kit
start playback or recording in your host
I do this and I have a Rock style selected and a drummer selected. I also have "No Jamcussion" checked.
I want a straight rock sound. No bongos and such. But Jamcussion keeps on playing every time I click "Create Song"! I am not understanding something here. |

| Shift+Left Click "Perc" at the top of the Jamstix window. See page 4 of the Jamcussion manual. |

Alternatively, you can also check the 'No Jamcussion' checkbox in the song builder before clicking 'Create Song'.

Thank you both for the answers.
Ralph, I must have been clicking "Create Song" before I checked "No Jamcussion" Duh!
AZ that was a great tip! I haven't gotten to the Jamcussion manual yet! However when you wrote that , I first went back to the Jamstix manual and said "There ain't no page 4!" Then I re-read you post and saw you were speaking of a different manual altogether!!
