It's happened a few times.
Click "Groove", or "Build" and all ok,
but, click on "Kit," nothing happens, click on "Mixer" and the kit view shows up.
Windows 10 home. x64
Reaper 5.70 x64.
Any help much appreciated.  |

Once the kit shows up, does the KIT button work fine from then on?

Just bought the upgrade a few days ago so I'm not real deep into it yet but I have had this same issue. When it happened to me, the only way I could get the kit to appear was to close and re-open my Reaper project. The "mixer trick" didn't work. Closing and re-opening the Jamstix window didn't work.
So far, for me, once I see the kit upon opening a project, it doesn't disappear. |

So does it only seem to happen on the initial build of the kit screen? The Cache GUI option may help in this case. Worth a try..

More on this:
Toggling the "Cache GUI" option or any of various other kit display options has no effect.
I recant my former testimony that once the kit is visible, it stays visible. That is no longer consistently true.
I recant my former testimony that closing and re-opening my project will make the kit appear. That is no longer consistently true. Closing and re-opening Reaper worked though (the one time that I tried it). |
