|

This may be really straight forward but I cannot figure out if there is a way to set an envelope to open the hats (adjust pedal position" as my track approaches a chorus.
I want to get a high hat part sounding like a real drummer and if the hats were tight during verses and then slowly opend in the 1-2 bars leading into a verse it would sound a lot more fluid?
Any info is appreciated... |

The internal engine of Jamstix does not have continuously opening hat samples. Such features are only found in high-end sample libraries like BFD or DFHS, which cost way more than Jamstix.
If you use a drum module with Jamstix that supports CC4 (hihat controller events), you can use an automation envelope in your host to control the hihat state. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

thats cool....so I can use Jamstix to write a part, running BFD as the library and ontop of all my Jamstix envelopes I just make a new midi envelope for CC04 and ride it for openes of the hats regardles of what pattern is being played by jamstix at the time ??!
Sounds cool. Will test it tonight |
