| I can't get any beats on jamstix. I watch the video and do as it says and nothing. No playback. I've never heard Jamstix play anything |

Hi
Are you using a JS kit or a 3rd party like SSD4, BFD3?
JS3 or 4?

| Going to need more info from you to help. What host are you using? What is Jamstix doing when you start playback in your DAW? |

I'm using Sonar Platinum and AD2.
I've tried JS kits and Addictive drums 2
The videos are from rayzoon
Is there a video or guide to follow procedure, A step by step in a host?
I have JS3 and 4. I don't know how to get playback of the created drum part using JS
Thanks for the info provided. Please excuse my ignorance |

Did JS3 work for you? The procedure should be pretty much the same for JS4. There are only videos for JS3 at this time but Ralph said he will do a quick start video for JS4 once the mayhem dies down and he gets some time.
Did you try following the videos with JS3 instead to see if it worked? If it does, JS4 should basically work the same. |

I notice there's no wizard in JS4. I'm sure I'm leaving an action out or a in/output not right somewhere. When I do as the video shows it never does the same. Maybe my settings. I'm at a loss at this point. Tutorials would be great! I still think a sequence from install to project needs to be made.
Thanks for the response! |

| At the top of the Jamstix window, click the "Build" label. That is the equivalent of the JS3 Wizard and where you set your initial style and drummer choice with other options. |

| I have it playing now but it's clear there's a big learning curve for me and I need to read much more. I've managed to get it to play back but haven't worked my way to the brain. Thanks for the info and help! |
