Just noticed that the 64-bit .dll was NOT placed in the directed "vst" folder (Asked for at install time I just noticed this when reaper could only "see" the 32 bit one).
but there is one in the:
C:\ProgramData\Jamstix4\bin folder
I just copied it to my C:\Program Files\vstplugins folder (where I keep all my 64 bit plugs)
the 32 bit .dll installed to the directed path without issue
???
Thanks |

Probably user error - my installation went off without a hitch. |

Yea I must not have used a Logitech Mouse? Or applied too many in-lbs to the left mouse button when I clicked "OK" in the controlling installer (aka Jamstix 4 Manager) options menu

Is it possible you selected a folder but didn’t check the box? I don’t think it was checked by default. Anyway it put the 64 bit VST .dll in the location I selected. _________________ Core i7 4712QM, 16GB, Cubase 9 Pro on Windows 10. Scarlett 2i2. M-Audio Axiom Pro 61. Komplete 8. Jamstix 3.6. Hi! Greetings from Chile.
So, I've found an issue, I can't get to load some Drummers and Styles that are JS Inherent.
For Instance, I've got no Chad, no Charlie, No Roger, No Phil (Phil is one of the great ones)
On Styles, for instance No Modern Funk, No Shuffled Funk. I took a time to compare with the list of drummers and yup, they show in red and asks me to purchase full version of Jamstix.
What am I missing here?
Btw, I've got the AI pack and these drummers are ok.
Thanks in advance!

Paul, we've identified a packaging problem that causes some styles, kits and players not be updated when going from free to full version.
This has been corrected. Please run the manager tool again and let it update. Let me know if that does not fix it. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph! All is now populated. It even tempts me to get a mini pak or a couple...
All the best, and would dream of having Bill (Brufford) as drummer if you can consider in a future. |

We've been 'cooking' a 'Bill' model for quite a while now. Hopefully it will be release-worthy next year. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Awesome news! That cat is quite resourceful rather than flamboyant. Thanks for the info, will eagerly wait. |

Great, now I'll have to buy a bigger monitor just to fit all of the Brain controls! I'd have no idea how to even approach modelling that one LOL. |

Jamstix 4 is awesome. Never thought that the 3d feature could give such a great feeling. To watch like the drummer plays with or without sticks is fantastic. To set the drums to every color isn't just a gimmick, it's fun! Midi mapping with SSD4 works fine, too. Great.
I have a little problem with snare rolls. At recomposing it's too quiet in my opinion, so I always have to click with the right mouse button to change every snare roll from "quiet" to "loud". I'm not in a circus, I`m playing Rock! Is there a value to set this as default?
Great work man.
Thank you. |
Hey statusquo_fan,
Have you tried simply turning up the Min Vol knob in the Kit window for the Snare or adjust the Velocity Behavior graph? Just trying to suggest something that might help. |

I've been working with the user via email. It looks like it's a MIDI mapping problem. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

a_zimuth, thanks for trying to help.
Hey Ralph, I checked it again a few moments ago and now it works fine with both kits I sent to you. I built the snare rolls once again in Jamstix 4 and now it works. Maybe there was a problem with the created bars in Jamstix 3 when I loaded the song in Jamstix 4. I really don't know. |

|
|
Hi Ralf,
I think there could be a problem running the jamstix manager with the last update inside daw. I lost all my kits during installations of last update this way. Then I tried the "repair" function, dont help, got an error message. Then I opened the jamstix manager outside daw while daw was closed, now evrything is fine again. I assume some rights problems while inside daw, maybe it is a good tip to prefer running jamstix manager outside daw ? |
